Thursday, January 31, 2013. But no village I visited in England captured my heart like Shere. I admit to having a romanticized view of what the quintessential English village should be. Shere brought all of those romanticized views to vivid life. It is as quaint and lovely as any place on earth I have ever been. In fact, the roads seemed so narrow that I was certain our car would get stuck somewhere along the way. If only it had! What a place to be stuck.
